--We have been here a number of times now, and it is a good non chain
place to go In PT C, esp if you are at the mall as it is a good
alternative to the food court.
The boys get pizza and burgers,
husband and I get shrimp, ribs, fish sandwiches etc. The food os pretty
good for a sports bar type place, and with 3 teen boys the number of
screens is great. Service is usually pretty good too. You are just of rt
41, but it feels like you aren't. It has turned into a Go-to staple
when we are in that area.
And yes, it is a 'sister' restaurant to sharkey's on the Pier in Venice.

Well, we tried them
again in May 2011 and I'm so glad we did. I recall the food being pretty
decent even on our first visit, but on our most recent visit, I had a
fantastic shrimp po' boy. It was spicy, but not overwhelming... the

10 minutes. The server was prompt with refills and the hostess was very
We dined at lunch, but they have a great looking bar
and lots of TVs... could be a fun spot to watch a game. I also noticed
they did a special for kids on Wednesdays, I believe.
I like the
tropical decor too... makes you feel "beachy" even though you are just
off Tamiami Trail. Apparently they are affiliated with Sharky's of
Venice, which while it has a awesome view, lacks in the food department.
I'll be back... wish I'd tried them again sooner!
The food, atmosphere & service never disappoints!
